Steady: (6.2.18)
I'm standing in a silent place looking ahead at my future. I realize where I've been and I'm excited about what i see. Promises of love and happiness. Promises of freedom and ministry. Promises of newness. Promises of me finally being who he has created me to be.
I've been in the waiting so long its almost unbearable at times but just on the horizon I can see the smiling face of one of my promises, encouraging me. There's something so majestic about this beautiful smile I see, it makes my spirit leap and my heart skip a beat. There's a longing deep in the pit of my soul that's wishing I was closer. Every day that passes by equals one step closer to that smile, that promise that's waiting for me. That beautiful face I see in the distance, encouraging me. What God has for us no man can take. We can't force his hand nor his time, can we accelerate. But my longing for this promise that encourages me, is made steady by a voice that speaks.
The voice of the Father reminding me, "Daughter, you must wait for me! I know you're in a hurry to receive that promise but you must know my timing is perfect. It's not just good. It's not just acceptable. But it's my perfect will for your life. My timing is never faulty or late but it happens as I've ordained it.
I looked down through the generations and I've ordained this moment. You're almost there. Almost standing with your promise hand in hand. But there are details that must be worked out and things put into place. It's not by chance or happenstance, this is my perfect plan.
So grab my hand my daughter and hold on tight as I lead you through this journey towards that promise, one step at a time. Don't run ahead or try to rush me. Your promise will be there when you arrive and i know that you feel you've waited all your life but you haven't a clue what I'm doing this time. You only see the surface of a promise smiling at you but what lies ahead is a lifetime of abundance I've prepared especially for you.
But as I've prepared this lifetime for you, i must also, for this lifetime, prepare you. You're not quite ready but you are getting there. Steady yourself, my daughter. So walk with me my child and learn of me. I'm preparing you for the land that flows with milk and honey and yes, it's so abundantly sweet. Trust me with your life and trust my timing. Breathe easy and rest in me and watch how quickly you're promise begins pursuing you. "
