Rerouting! Proceed to the Route!

🔥Hey Siri! Take me to my destination! 🔥

So I’ve been pondering on this a few days now!

I’m driving to a place I’ve never been. I set the GPS. And I “proceed to the route”. But Siri wants me to go on a route I don’t want to go on so I ignore her and keep driving the way I want to go! My route avoids the interstate and the busier highways, I choose the scenic route! The more peaceful choice!

Along the way, She keeps suggesting this turn and that turn and then she reminds me “proceed to route”, “rerouting”!

As I listened to her encouraging me to take the fastest route to my destination I chose to do my own thing and go Brandy’s route! When I got almost to the destination I started listening to Siri again and finally I arrived!

I could’ve chose Siri’s route and managed to fight 5 and 6 o’clock traffic going 80 MPH and probably made it a bit faster and earlier but I chose the peaceful scenic route and I still made good time. I saw the greenery, flowers, neighbors, and surrounding sights. I had my worship music playing enjoying the cool AC and beautiful sunshine. I was peaceful and chill when I got where I was going.

Just because someone suggests the fastest, more logical route does not mean it’s the best, or best for you. Some people can only see two points ... where I’m at and where I’m going! While others can see these and all that’s in between. Life is a journey and the route you choose to take is your choice and it matters! Every choice matters!

You see I set out to my destination with a determination to do it peacefully and chilled as possible. I didn’t miss any of the beautiful sights along the way. I took it in and enjoyed. Those two dots ... where you are at and where you are going are only as important as what you experienced on the way!

Time is precious and valuable! Once it’s gone it’s gone!
